Gardening the Smart Way
It’s that time of year when all avid gardeners can’t wait
to get into their gardens. There are a few things to remember to keep
your body pain free. Firstly, remember that like any other activity, you
need to build up your endurance. It is tempting to over do it the first
time out. By setting up three different activities that involve different
positions and rotating every fifteen minutes, you can avoid a problem
before it starts. It is important to change positions, stretch and rest
frequently. Remember to use good posture and positioning. Choose tools
that fit you and encourage good body positions. When digging, remember
to move your feet rather than twisting your back. Be sun smart and remember
to drink lots of water.
