A running assessment includes a biomechanical examination of an individual’s
running style and current injuries. An individual’s previous history
of injuries is taken into account. The findings from this assessment are
used to develop an exercise program to facilitate healing and return to
sport, improve running style and minimise risk of re-injury. Recommendations
may include strengthening and flexibility exercises, a cross training
program, a change in footwear, a running program to address speed, frequency
and distance.
