A biomechanical assessment of injuries related to playing golf includes
an examination of an individual’s golf stance, swing and previous
history of injury. A treatment regimen may include joint mobilisation,
specific strength and flexibility exercises to enhance recovery and minimise
risk of re-injury, core stabilisation, cross training, pre-game warm ups
and post game cool downs. Following a prescribed program can lead to greater
endurance and enjoyment of the sport.
