During August, 2006, Bob will be travelling with the Canadian Team to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, for the 13th World Racquetball Championships. These Championships are held every 2 years and over 30 countries will be represented this year. The tournament is divided into an Individual competition (Men’s and Women’s Singles & Doubles Titles) and a Team competition (Men’s, Women’s and Overall Team Titles). The Canadian Team will be a strong contender to regain the Overall World Team Trophy, which they won in 2000, as well as the Men’s Team Trophy, which they won in 2000 and 2002. The Canadians also have an excellent opportunity to bring home Individual World Titles in both the singles and doubles events. Look for the tournament updates at www.racquetball.ca beginning August 5, 2006.
